Hollywood by the Sea

Surfer Magazine inspired Harry and eventually his
own photos started showing up in the magazine.
While waiting tables at Napili Kai one night, a man asked Harry where he could rent a longboard.  Feeling generous, Harry offered to meet this man the next day at one of his favorite surf breaks.  It wasn't until he and the man were sitting  in the water that Harry saw something familiar about him.  Come to find out this was the cool, older guy, who help Harry into the main line up at Hollywood by the Sea.

This man became a Fire Chief for a major city in California.  I honor him this 4th of July, for serving our country.  I didn't get his permission so I won't publish his name.

This one is titled
"The earth is the LORD'S,
and the fullness thereof;"

[the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1]

Neither Harry and I knew the Lord as kids.  Harry's family moved up the coast of Californian, from Hollywood to Carmel,  I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.  We meet on Maui in 1976, married 84'.  Praise God  we did find the Lord after we had our third baby.  This painting is called Hookipa representing for today, the rocky start we had.
