Out of the Nest

This Shearwater Wedgetail was found bawling like a baby (their cries are often mistaken for a young babe) when the lights confused it's flight out of the nest over the ocean.  He was placed in a box and delivered to our private school in the morning.  And with one throw, was sent on his way across the bay.

Mak is leaving across the wide expanse of water the morning,
Aloha oe

It's been a very emotional week with friends and family stopping in to wish her farewell.  I know there will be lots more tears at the airport but truly there is no finer plan than to walk in the steps order by her LORD.

  1. Bless your heart! I can *so* relate. We moved our daughter into her first apartment @ college about three weeks ago. What a lovely young lady!
